Microbe Flash Card Application - Prototype
This application was planned around deck of 100 cards for students medical microbiology.  Each card depicts a microorganism, the reverse of the card details information on diseases caused, pathogenesis, immunity, epidemiology, diagnosis, and control.
The deck is organized into gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. An outline of the human body on the back of the card shows at a glance where the organisms cause disease.

The interactive was designed to offer two modes. One mode where the user can study information about the microbes and play a matching game to help study. The second mode is a game mode, where the player chooses to be a microbe or human and earns points towards infecting the host, or fighting off the infection.
